Can someone tell me if your cumulative GPA for college includes your freshman year?

oh, and if they look at it, unweighted or weighted (like the extra point for honors/ap classes?)

  2. swagglikebillyjoel answered: yes it includes frshman year… and they usually prefer to just look at unweighted but some will look at weighted after that
  3. mallsory answered: yes and weighted
  4. paulenemaay said: only 10th & 11th grade count for your weighted gpa but they still look at every semester grade from 9th all the way through 12th. like, even if you have already gotten accepted & you get a D senior year, they can still revoke your admission
  5. thehiddencrop answered: most colleges count your unweight GPA in sophomore and junior year
  6. 4ever-a-rebel-xoxo answered: it does count, especially your freshman year… at least your semester grades.
  7. koijacho said: UC’s will use your sophomore/junior gpa weighted i believe.. privates will look at pretty much everything
  8. kingoftheaeroplane answered: it doesn’t include freshman GPA, and certain colleges don’t weigh it, but most do :)
  9. waynesays answered: it all depends on the school you’re looking at. some might look at everything as a whole, or look to see if you’re progressing, etc.
  10. daijoubu said: depends! if youre applying to a UC, its basically sophomore year and junior year. privates look at everything
  11. 718-626 answered: yes
  12. kswizzleee answered: they don’t look at freshmen year or 2nd semester senior year.
